Saumon a l’oignon

Caribbean curry SalmonIngredients:

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of Caribbean curry powder (mixed with coriander, turmeric, cumin, chili, fenugreek, salt, garlic, fennel, pepper & ginger)
  • 2 big size onion chopped
  • Fresh coriander leaves
  • Salt, to taste
  • 6-8 salmon steaks or fillets
  • 4-5 green chili (opt if you don’t want spicy)

Directions

  1. Heat oil and when warm add the onion and some salt
  2. When the onion is close to tender add one cup of boiled water and the Caribbean curry powder along with the green chilies
  3. Prepare the masala – as your satisfaction and then add the salmon steaks
  4. Fry both sides carefully and when the spice is properly mixed with the salmon add another cup of boiled water
  5. Cover with the lid for 10 minutes and then it’s ready
  6. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves ..
  7. Eat with rice
